Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) techniques facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes, excess water, bacteria, large protein molecules, and foreign substances from tissue via the initial lymph vessels and the venous capillaries. In addition it relaxes the sympathetic nervous system, reduces pain, and enhances the activity of the immune system. The technique is a very gentle one, working on the skin and lymph vessels, rather than the muscles, so the lightest of pressure is used. It’s relaxing and hypnotic, people have been known to doze off during treatment (which is totally fine!). No oil is used.

Its also a very subtle treatment, with many clients requiring multiple sessions to see any results.
